Whew I uploaded a lot of times this week. I even feel like I am spamming 8D. But school load is catching up orz, so back to inactivity here I go. Here is a practice piece meant to keep my skill intact XD.
---------------------------------- you could not hear the frozen water, nor the lifeless leaves. The monochromatic sky, with cold glimmering stars...embodied a soundless winter night ----------------------------------
Woah, looking back, I just realize my marker skill disintegrated into thin air =w=. I can't even blend colours properly anymore. Thanks a lot, school. And the background was a pain to colour, even though it was just a solid block.
The originally planned colours for this pic was violet, but three of my Vs died so I looked for alternatives ;w;. And I don't want to use this thin paper material used for this pic again, my marker bled like no end.
And I swear my scanner have something against my blue and blue green tones >_>. none of it turned out properly. I should have done more than a 5 minute retouch...
...Meanwhile I am starting to feel tired and uninspired =w=, I sense an artblock coming, I haven't had one in a while ;w;.
Tools: Copic markers, Multiliner, some thin vellum paper, uncreative mind
Nice! How big was the original? I'm curious at how big of a scale you work at because it's hard to blend with so many colors and small shapes on a small scale.
hm, I think it's just a drawing mistake. This usually happens when I draw things quickly. The sketch was done in around 10 minutes without any of the usual anatomy guides I draw. In this case, the image was a coloring practice, so I didn't pay as much attention to anatomy.
this one is 9 by 12 inches ^^
I love the way you shaded, and the concept itself, it's an awesome illustration!
